All throughout this season, Fenerbahçe hasn't been able to perform consistent football at all. Just when three straight wins had talked down the uproar, a draw at the hands of Kocaelispor was enough to re-ignite the discontent amongst supporters and media pundits. Now the Turkish press have begun predicting drastic measures the Fenerbahçe administration can possibly take this week.

Fenerbahçe had seemed to have really gotten into the groove with their performance in these past two weeks. Two home wins against league leaders Sivasspor and an away win at Kayseri had surely brought a smile to everyone's face. But Friday evening's draw at the hands of Kocaelispor has definitely re-ignited the uproar.

The Turkish sports press has begun forecasting radical measures that the Yellow Canaries administration is likely to take in the coming weeks. Reports in newspapers Vatan and Fanatik predict that the Fenerbahçe board may decide some time during this week to leave four or five players out of the squad indefinitely, including Josico Verdu, Colin Kazım-Richards and Claudio Maldonado.

Josico and Maldonado seem to have already been scrapped out of Fenerbahçe's plans. Joscio lastly played in the second half of Friday's Kocaelispor match, but the yellow card he recieved signed him out for next weekend's Bursaspor match as it was the Spanish midfielder's fourth consecutive yellow card.

Meanwhile, Chilean international Claudio Maldonado is constantly linked with a move to Brazil's Palmeiras, coached by his father-in-law Vanderlei Luxemburgo. On the other hand, the unrest between Colin Kazım-Richards and coach Luis Aragones has resulted in rumours that the player definitely wants to return to the Premiership.

Milliyet even wrote on Sunday that the 22-year-old Turkish international is asking Fenerbahçe for a new five year contract worth double the money he now earns, or else he will leave.

While four or five players may be scrapped off the squad list, Spanish coach Luis Aragones' future with the club is also a matter of debate within the Yellow Canaries administration. Vatan's report indicates that the club may part ways with the experienced coach at the end of the season.

If what the Turkish sports press currently forecasts is true, then the Fenerbahçe board members might make important decisions during this week. Stick with Fenerbahçe Worldwide for all the latest developments.
