Fenerbahçe was on the training pitch again Tuesday to work toward this weekend's Turkcell Süper Lig contest against Bursaspor. The Canaries take on the Green Crocs Friday night in Bursa, but Fener could be without two key players in week 25.
The team met Tuesday morning at 11:00 local time and practiced for just under an hour and a half at the Samandıra Training Facilities. After Coach Aragones held a brief meeting at midfield, Carlos Cascallana led the team in warmups. Following warmups, the team was divided into two squads to work on Friday's gameplan with an emphasis on attacking and defending. The two squads rotated and Tuesday's training session ended with some stretching.
Alex de Souza did not train with the team on Tuesday and is still recovering from injury. Gökhan Gönül joined the team early on, but left during today's session after experiencing pain in his right ankle. The team will practice again at 11:00 local time Wednesday morning.
